1 - When will I receive my order?

Shipping Time

 

The total delivery time for your order is the period of time from when you place your order until the time you receive it. It is comprised of two parts, the processing time and the shipping time.

 

Processing time for an item is the time from when you submit your order to when the item leaves the warehouse. This usually takes 1-3 days depending on the products you order. Shipping time is from when the item leaves the warehouse to when it arrives at your door. Shaw orders can be anywhere from the same day to 14 days. It typically takes Shaw about 5-7 days to get your order to you.

 

However, other manufacturers can take longer. Most products can be received within 14 days from the day you place your order on the website or by phone.


2 - Can I return unused material?

RETURNING UNDAMAGED ITEMS

Even when your order is correct and undamaged, Floor Mania happily accepts returns. Here's what you need to know to avoid misunderstandings:

  • To return something, contact us within 3 days of delivery for a return authorization number.
  • You'll be reimbursed for the cost of the item less a restocking fee. Shipping charges will not be refunded.
  • There is a 100 square feet minimum for returns.
  • The manufacturers we work with often charge a restocking fee of 25% or more. When they do, your refund will be reduced by the amount of the charge. Items must be returned in original cartons. Our suppliers will not accept open boxes.
  • We will arrange return shipping for you, or you may arrange it yourself. In either case you will be responsible for return shipping charges.
  • We do not accept returns on any trim, pad, or accessories, except when damaged and noted on the Bill of Lading.

Please keep in mind it is a good thing to have a little extra left over for future repairs. Occasionally manufacturers do discontinue items from their product catalog. 3 or 4 boxes extra is a good thing to have!

Some manufacturers have a minimum restocking fee (usually $125). Please ask when doing a RMA.


3 - Do you ship to Canada or overseas?

At this time we only ship to the continental US. We can ship some products to Alaska and Hawaii (call for shipping info).


We may consider shipping to Canada in the future if it is warranted.


4 - What do I do if my item is damaged during shipping?

It's up to you to determine that your order is complete and undamaged.

 

Although shipping damages are rare, following the steps below will make it easier for Floor Mania to replace your damaged product....

 

    • Count your packages to make sure the number delivered matches the delivery receipt. If it does not, note the shortage on the delivery receipt.

 

    • Inspect your order carefully before signing for it. If the driver does not have time to wait for you to check each box throughly, write "not sure of damages, pending inspection" on the delivery receipt.

 

    • Always note on the delivery receipt any carton damage you see.

 

    • If you discover damage after the driver has gone, call Customer Service at 1-888-546-4331. Shipping claims must be reported within 3 days of delivery. Floor Mania will replace at no charge anything reported damaged, missing or not delivered as ordered if reported during this period.

 

    • Please keep the original cartons until any problems are resolved.

 

    • Always note on the delivery receipt any carton damage you see.

 

  • Due to the nature of tile products such as natural stone, ceramic, and porcelain please add 5% for possible shipping damages. All damaged tile items must be noted on the bill of lading. We can not be responsible for damages to tile that is not noted on the shipping paperwork. Floor Mania will only replace damages that exceed 5% of your order.


5 - Read our full return policy

RETURN POLICY / TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Floor Mania will replace products or give a refund if you receive damaged goods. If this happens it must be noted on the B.O.L. (paper you sign off on with the driver) with your signature and that of the driver. If you fail to put it on the B.O.L., we may not be able to replace or give a refund.

Floor Mania will resend products that are missing from your order, if you have it noted on the B.O.L. with your signature and that of the driver. Never sign the B.O.L. that you have received something when you haven't.

 

Floor Mania will replace products or give a refund if you receive an incorrect product. If this happens, you must REFUSE to accept the product and the driver will take the material back with him or her. Under no circumstances should you keep the incorrect products.

 

Floor Mania uses a variety of freight carriers to deliver products. Every carrier will have a delivery receipt or B.O.L. for you to sign. The B.O.L. will have a list of the products that are being shipped to you. At delivery you will have to sign the B.O.L., that you have received your products.

 

Before you sign be sure to do the following things. Confirm that you are receiving the correct product and quantities. If any product is missing, it MUST be notated on the delivery receipt. Inspect all boxes and packages for damages. Look for characteristics like dents, gouges, rounded corners, opened boxes, broken containers, and etc. Any such damage must be clearly notated on the delivery receipt and signed by BOTH you and the delivery driver.

 

If you sign the B.O.L. and do not have the driver make notes on any problems (damages, shortages, incorrect product, etc.) then Floor Mania is not responsible for refunds or replacements.

6 - Are your products 1st quality?

YES! All products sold by Floor Mania are 1st quality and carry the full manufacturers warranty.


7 - How does warehouse pickup work?

Warehouse pickup is probably the easiest way to receive your order. We have various warehouses scattered across the USA.

 

 See the chart below for warehouse locations.

Once your order is placed with Floor Mania you will receive a reference (pickup) number that corresponds with your order. The warehouse address will show as your shipping address on your order. We will let you know the approximate day your order will be ready for pickup. When you go to pickup your order you will need to make sure you have your pickup number with you.

8 - I am looking for product "XYZ". It is not on your site. Does that mean you don't have it?

While we list most products we carry on our website, not all are there. If you don't see what you are looking for give us a call, chat with us on our live chat, or drop us a email. We may have exactly what your looking for!


9 - Factory Warehouse Locations

Our Factory Warehouses are for customer pickup and distribution only. These are not retail store locations. Some of these warehouses are in suburbs of the major city (ie: the Los Angeles Warehouse is in Cypress, CA).

 

After ordering it generally takes from 3-7 days for the order to be available for pickup.

10 - How does the Commercial Shipping promotion work?

Commercial shipping is $99 flat rate or free for orders over $2,000

Commercial shipping is actually pretty simple. We have shipped all over the USA in the past 13 years. Your commercial address must have a forklift or loading dock to qualify for a commercial  delivery.  We will submit your contact info (phone number) along with the order so the driver may contact you if needed.  If you have any questions please drop us an email or use our live chat below. We will gladly answer all your questions.

We ship directly from a Factory Distribution Center or a Factory Warehouse and The Factories will only allow their trucks to deliver to a business with a forklift or loading dock.  They do not care what business (your work place, a friend's place of work), just as long as long as there is a forklift or loading dock available.

Can't come up with a commercial address to ship your flooring? No problem, we also ship flat rate to most residential addresses starting $199.00. Your residential address must have easy in and out access for a full size 18 wheeler. In most cases residential shipments include a lift gate to lower the material to the ground. This is not a "white glove" residential shipment, it is curbside delivery. The drivers are only required to get the material to your address. They will not bring the material into your home, etc for you.

 

Warehouse pickup is $89 (free for orders over $2,000). Check the chart below to see if there is a warehouse near your location.

11 - How do I choose my trim color?

 Trim Information

We carry a wide variety of trim color for each of our products. Unfortunately there is no easy way for us to impliment a color choice. Until we can get this implimented we are using the following method for trim.

Currently if you are ordering Laminate, Hardwood. or vinyl we match all trim pieces to the product ordered. If you order Radiant Luster - Polo your trim will also be in color Radiant Luster - Polo.

If you are only ordering trim pieces the best method at this time is to include the color of trim pieces in the comments box on the checkout page. If we are ever unsure we will always contact you before sending your order.

12 - How much does it cost to ship trim pieces?

Trim Shipping Information

 

If you are ordering Shaw laminate, tile, hardwood, or vinyl shipping for trim pieces is included in the price of shipping your flooring order. There is absolutely no extra charge to ship any amount of trim along with the order.

 

If you are only ordering trim pieces, shipping is generally shipped via FedEx Ground. These pieces can be sent straight to your home and do not require a commercial address for shipping. You should see the FedEx shipping option on the checkout page.
